Looking for answersAt the age of 59 when my dad would sit up or stand up he would feel very lightheaded and felt like he was going to faint. After going to several doctors one doctor said that his blood pressure would drop when he sat up or stood up, but he did not know why. The doctor had all tests know ran on him. Re: Looking for answersI am not a doctor (and I don't play one on tv either) but it kind of sounds like he may have some orthostatic intolerance. Have him ask his doc about that and see what he says. If the doc looks at him like he has no idea what he is talking about, try going to potsplace.com and look to see if there is a doctor on their list that is in your area.
