I recently had an Coronary Angioplasty in order to find out why i was having these episodes of chest pain. My doctor said he found choleastrol in my heart. Also he said that my heart does not know how to rest, and thats why i have these episodes. So he has me on medication for this. This only happens when i am asleep. My question is if this is so is there any other kind of medication that will stop this. I am on pravachol 20 mg and isosorbide momonitrate 120 mg at bedtime daily. Please give me you opinion of this. It probably is not enough information for you but it doesn't hurt to ask. As for my chest pain it is a heavines in the middle of my chest and last about 30 min to an hour. When i take my pills it goes away. My stress test came out ok and they did a ultra sound on my heart and they found a leakage there also. I hope this will give you more of an insight of my problem.
