It is an extremely hopeless feeling when your spouse has a severe case of diabetes and you see the severe symptoms manifesting themselves and you can’t do anything about it. I have had it since 1989 and was just diagnosed with charcots after I broke my ankle in July. This is the last thing I thought would happen and can certainly empathize with what you are feeling for your wife.
